Sports, for most geeks and nerds, involve rigorous thumb movements, a lack of blinking, and holding out your tongue. Today, we talk about non-traditional sports that are less competitive that are perfect for the pseudo-athlete.
This may look easy, but it’s certainly not. From backyard hobbyists to professional throwing leagues, this sport is great for social gatherings to office team building events.
If you’re in Ontario, Canada, take note of the Disc Golf Association where you can find breath-taking shots of courses, an interactive map showing course locations, and some great information if you’re just starting out. If you think this sport is not to be taken seriously, please take a look at Brodie Smith’s epic Disc Golf Trick Shots with his friends.
The local spot that was mentioned by Elijah in this episode can be found here. This sport is mostly paint ball, with some feeling of Dodgeball (but with arrows). This is a great sport for all ages and can be a great cardio workout (if that’s your thing).
